How to Find us

There are several different ways to get to Mindermere Manor Hotel and we trust our detailed instructions will help you find us, but if you need any assistance in getting to us, just let us know.

By Train

The nearest train station is Windermere, which is ½ mile from the hotel.
We are also served by Oxenholme Station, which is 9 miles from the hotel.

We offer a complimentary pick up and drop off service for our guests choosing to travel by train. Please contact the hotel no later that 1 week prior to arrival if you want to be collected from the train station.

By Car

  1. Starting from Junction 36 on the M6
  2. Exit the M6 and turn left onto A591
  3. Follow signs to Windermere for 16 miles staying on the A591
  4. Continue to Ambleside (do not turn left at Windermere village)
  5. At the mini-roundabout, take the first left onto Rayrigg Road
  6. The Windermere Manor Hotel is on the first left opposite the view point

By Coach

  1. National Express operates a service to Windermere
  2. The coach sets down at Windermere Rail Station

By Air

Manchester is the nearest Airport. There is a direct train service from the airport to Windermere.
