At Vision Hotels, we want to make sure that our guests are always able to tell us what they think is great about us or to provide ideas as to how we can make the Vision Hotels experience even better.
If you want to know what people who have stayed at the Russell Hotel have to say about it, then you are in the right place.
The russell Hotel is brilliantly situated by the beach, the food is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
However, I have a few points that needs to be raised.
First of all, 90 percent of people were elderly, and only 1 percent were young. I went with a friend of mine, and felt that I was walking in to a nursing home, and not a hotel.
The entertainment was utter rubbish, and therefore, was not impressed.
I also noticed that the staff and volunteers ended up being carers. This is seriously wrong as this is not their job to care for the elderly. The elderly should bring their own carers if they can't look after themselves.
The russell Hotel would be a really good and popular hotel if there were more young people.
I have nothing against the elderly, but this is meant to be a hotel, not a nursing home. The elderly should and must be totally indipendant if they want to go to the Russell or the other hotels.
They are to bring their own carers if they can't look after themselves, and I want to see proper entertainment such as a disco, or live bands for example.
I want to see less of the elderly, and more of the young people. I want modern music, not 30s and 40s. Ms Kelly Muggeridge
FOR ATTENTION OF MANANGEMENT PLEASE
My wife and I have just returned from Hotel Russell at Bognor Regis West Sussex.(Friday 11th to 14th February 2011) This is an area we know well as our son and Daughter in Law live nearby.
We have never stayed with Vision hotels before so this was our first visit. I must first of all say it will not be our last. The Staff at this hotel are a credit to the Hotel business their attention help and kindness exceed many a hotel I have stayed in around the world of a higher grade, both my wife and I have some degree of physical disabilities and although you as a company specialise in the visually impaired the service you give far exceed this. We visit this area as I said for family reasons and our grandson is in fact visuall impaired when your management became aware they offered so much help and guidance far beyond what anyone could have expected even though he is only 17 months of age. I understand the lady who was the assistant manager, whose name was Fiona is normally at your hotel in windermere she is to be congratulated on her kindness and professional attention to us.
We have followed up on all the advice given as our Grandsons eye condition is currently quite servere, also meeting with other guests who have visual impairment helped us to see that there is a lot of help and a sound future for our grandson.
I am sure you are aware of the electrical problems the Hotel were encountering on arrival on Friday 11th February this in no way deters from the excellent service we recieved. I trust your staff will be made aware of our comments and we look forward to our return to Hotel Russell and no doubt the other Hotels within the group.
It is a pleasure in this day and age to recieve service of such a high degree that is so often lacking today.
